Your Inner Camino Meeting

A Self-Reflection Meeting

During your Camino,
you are not only walking through the landscape,
the Outer Camino,
but also through yourself,
the Inner Camino.

The
Your Inner Camino Meeting
marks a moment to give attention to what has already
begun to move within you along the way.

What this meeting is

The Your Inner Camino Meeting is a guided moment of reflection for pilgrims who are already underway.

It offers a pause in the flow of walking, thinking, and processing, a moment to consciously turn attention to what the Camino has set in motion inside you.

Not to analyze it.
Not to improve it.
But to clearly see what is present.

What happens here

During the meeting, you reflect on your experience so far, physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Together with other pilgrims, you explore how you are perceiving what you encounter on the Camino, rather than focusing on the events themselves.

By doing so, it becomes possible to distinguish between what you experience and the conclusions or stories that naturally form around it.

This distinction often brings immediate clarity.

Why this matters on the Camino

The Camino naturally loosens familiar patterns.

Thoughts, emotions, memories, and insights surface more easily than in everyday life.

Most pilgrims keep walking while these inner movements quietly shape how they see themselves, others, and their journey.

Rarely is there a moment to notice how these interpretations take form.

This meeting offers that moment, while the process is still unfolding.

What participation can bring

Beyond insight or reflection, the meeting offers something practical:
an initial experience of a skill you can continue to develop on your Camino and beyond.

During the meeting, you are guided to notice more precisely
how you perceive, interpret, and respond to what arises within you.

This first taste of conscious observation makes it easier to recognize automatic patterns, thoughts, or impulses, before they turn into actions with unwanted consequences.

As this capacity to observe becomes clearer, it creates a moment of choice.

A moment where you can intervene in unconscious reactions, rather than being carried by them.

For many pilgrims, this marks the beginning of a different relationship with their own experience, one in which they gradually learn to shape their lives more deliberately,
rather than repeating what happens automatically.

Nothing is imposed. A skill is awakened.

What this meeting is not

The Your Inner Camino Meeting is not therapy, coaching, or spiritual instruction.

No method is used.

No answers are given.

Nothing is explained or fixed. You are not told what to think, feel, or do.

The focus is on awareness, not on change.

Why now, why here

For many pilgrims, the Camino shifts after the initial physical phase.

As the body finds its rhythm, attention naturally moves inward.

This transition often coincides with the approach to the Meseta, where the landscape becomes simpler and the mind more active.

The Your Inner Camino Meeting is offered precisely at this point, supporting awareness during this mental phase of the Camino.

The setting

The meeting takes place in a light, quiet room on the ground floor of Palacio de Sansol, directly connected to the terrace.

It is a dedicated space, held at a fixed time, with a small group of pilgrims who are staying here that day.

Sharing is welcome.

Listening is equally welcome.

Silence is allowed. 😉
